Yea, it should heal like any other wound now just takes a little while to heal. Eat well and it should heal in no time. In my experience it takes 2-3 game days. You'd still get the minor pain moodlet until then. You don't heal the "bitten" status, just the zombie infection. Also you should remember what town you selected to spawn in if you want to work with the in-game maps. Although, they are not as useful as the one in the link. Also, the maps in the game are on a horizontal grid, where the world is on a diagonal one. So that takes some getting used to. Think I only ever really use the annotated maps in-game...Use the ripped cloth to level your tailoring skill by patching/removing patches on clothes. Then pad your clothes with leather for maximum protection. Spear is the best sustainable weapon, but breaks pretty quick so you may want extras. They'll weigh you down though so its a tricky balance.
