Sep 29, 2009 · New this season is the Hydro-Gear 3400, and 5400. The 3400 is the 2800 on steroids intended for commercial use. The 5400 is a completely new unit with a piston pump and motor. This gives the ability to change the displacement of the wheel motor when in use. This translates to more torque or more speed. Bigger hydro, more oil, more cooling capacity, almost 100ft lbs higher output torque. That all adds up especially when pulling attachments around. Here's a good write up on servicing the ezt's.
