I know in NJ they've made the tech class into 3 parts - you'll have to go to these 3 classes - take the exam, and then once you pass, you'll be tech certified. its quite easy - the classes are helpful too.It is not a rewarding job at all because the harder you work, the bigger the bonus of the pharmacy manager and district leaders. You get no bonus for your hard work, only a 2-4% raise which is usually about .30-.50 cents. The pharmacy manager gets about $3k-$10k as a yearly bonus.
