UF is the only veterinary medicine school in Florida so that's probably where I'm going for graduate school. I got accepted to UCF for the summer and also applied to UF for the summer. The years within a program there's some wiggle room, but I wouldn't call you a college freshman if you hadn't yet started college either. But I don't particularly care what your SDN status says. While I don't know anything specifically about NC State, I do know that, just because you get into vet school, it doesn't mean you are guaranteed to get your DVM. Most of my shadowing and volunteer experiences have been in the healthcare field at hospitals and private practices. I haven’t shadowed a veterinarian yet, but I am actively working on it.
