While probably not plain overpowered Sylvan Sorcerer is a great pure class if you don't want to combine 4+ classes together to create a multiclass monstrosity. I played my main playthrough as one with Smilodon as animal companion, Spell Focus (Conjuration) and Spell Focus (Evocation). The Slayer's advantages in armor proficiencies and hit dice don't really matter in Kingmaker, at least beyond Normal difficulty, and with how high-powered the loot gets, the Slayer's higher BAB isn't going to make much of a difference in the long run - the Knife Master Rogue will still out-slay him, I think. vaderbg2.
