Glock 43x vs MOS. New to the gun world, apology's if this is a stupid question, I currently have a 43x and was curious if a 43x MOS slide would fit on the normal 43x frame? Thanks for any and all advice ! The biggest benefit is the frame though, it has an accessory rail. You don't really need an MOS slide you can just get your slide milled.I just wondered how much longer the grip is on the 43X compared to the G43. That would be the only difference in how they carry in the pocket. .75" longer grip. The 43x fits in my pocket, but not to "pocket carry." Instead there are just sometimes I need to put the gun and holster in my pocket.

I was going to trade my 43x for a 43x MOS. I sent the slide off for milling and I'm very happy with the results. Adapter plates are another point of failure. C&H does a great job with plates and the FN 509 plates are GTG in my experience. Glock MOS plates are problematic. Regular height iron sights are usable/co-witnessed with a milled slide.The GLOCK 43X is slightly (.1″) thicker and slightly (.08″-.2″) longer than the P365 and the Hellcat. Whether it’s that minuscule size difference or just the difference in design, I shoot the 43X better. It feels more like a svelte mid-size gun, and less like a modern derringer to me.
