PGS might not be the "best" since that all comes down to personal preference, but it does have the highest potential DPS of any of the curved swords. It also has the worst range by quite a bit. That weapon is just extremely good, it carried me all the way to the last boss. High damage, nice scaling (even better with sharp/refined), bleeding (which becomes extremely strong with carthus rouge), good weapon art (especially for chaining hits in pvp).
