it seems the stats are changed and vanir is totally garbage now. vanir was my go-to as well but its trash now for cold resist - i dont know if thats intended. i tried the other fur armors and that was a waste of time as well. anyways, if you want extreme early game - check knowledge menu--> armor --> savage armors --> kambujan shaman armor.It seems better to craft a Ymir altar and give them Ymir armor, which looks like and is almost as good as Vanir Heavy in stats but gives an extra +5 strength.
