Hi, I own a 2013 Cadillac XTS and ever since I got it, I experienced no problems with the CUE system until a few days ago when all of a sudden the lower half of the screen is totally unresponsive (I touch it, nothing!). Motion sensors appear to work just fine. I tried the unplugging of the battery thing, nothing.

There is a CUE issue, at least on XTS, that kills the weather app for some reason. Have your dealer set up a technical case with XM/Sirrius, and they will get it corrected. They were able to fix the XTS within a day. The 3 month trial is correct, it should be active and functioning.

Ever since I've had the CD installed, every now and then the CUE goes black (damn CUE), and I want to reset it and pull the CD player. OK - nobody seems to know which fuse, so I performed the reset by disconnecting and reconnecting the negative battery cable.If not, it's worth a shot: 1) With the ignition ON, raise the front panel (faceplate.) 2) Turn the ignition OFF. 3) Open the driver's side door. 4) Wait sixty seconds. 5) Close the driver's side door and start the car. 6) Lower the faceplate. 7) If the reset was successful, you should see the CUE display initializing.…
